BSNL 4G MNP Process: People in India are thinking of leaving the old telecom companies and moving to BSNL. This is because recently telecom companies have increased the prices of their plans. Companies like Jio, Vi, and Airtel have increased their prepaid and postpaid plans by about 15 percent. Apart from this, telecom companies have increased the annual plans by Rs 500-600. Let us tell you that after the tariff increase, BSNL has added more than 2 lakh connections. In such a situation, we tell you how you can port your number to BSNL.
After the increase in the price of the plans, BSNL is also taking advantage of this opportunity. The company is currently improving its 2G and 3G network and is also paying special attention to 4G services. It is expected that 4G service will be started in the whole country in the next few months. Know the complete process of porting your number to BSNL.
Follow this process to port your number
1. First, get a Unique Porting Code (UPC) to port your mobile number. Then send an SMS to 1900 like this: ‘PORT your 10 digit mobile number’. For example, send PORT 8888888888.
If you are a prepaid mobile user in Jammu and Kashmir, then instead of sending an SMS, call 1900. The UPC given to you will work for a full 15 days at all places. But in Jammu and Kashmir and North East, it will work for 30 days.
2. After this, go to BSNL Customer Service Center (CSC) or any authorized shop and request for mobile porting.
3. After this, fill a customer application form (CAF) and pay the porting fee. However, currently no porting fee is being charged.
4. After this you will be given a new BSNL SIM card. When your porting request is approved, BSNL will inform you when your number will be ported. At that time you will have to put the new number in your phone.
5. If you face any problem, you can call toll-free number 1800-180-1503 or 1503.
